In 2023 Hampshire Cultural Trust appointed me to work closely with them to create an audience engagement strategy and model, piloting a process on two community engagement projects, then creating a flexible, realistic and best-practice based framework for them to work to in the future.

The project aimed to broaden audiences, bringing new audiences in and listening to them about what they wanted, how they felt and how what would need to change for them to consider the venues ‘home’ to them.

Supporting the staff through the process, I created a staged plan from creating an initial scalable model, all the way through to all exhibitions being developed with community members and community groups actively helping define policy and interpretation.
